Singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, educator and FolkyFishFest founder, Lukas Simpson has assembled a brand new band which will debut at this year’s festival! Bassist Joey Glynn (Pokey LaFarge, Hot Club of St. Louis, The Gaslight Squares), dobro/dulcimer/guitarist Blake Korte (Riverbend, Silver Creek Bluegrass Band) and guitar/mandolinist Matt Schmidt (The Idea Men) join Lukas Simpson to create Luke AF. Their unique blend of original music, new and traditional folk, country, old-time, bluegrass, swing and grunge create a new and yet familiar sound and just might become your new favorite group! Also, they won’t say what AF actually stands for.
