Konza Swamp Band
We’re talking good old American music, fueled with drive, energy and delivered to you in a rusty pickup truck, but hell she’s still running. Konza Swamp Band does Country, Old-time & Bluegrass grooves better than anybody I know, but they can also throw a beastie boys number at you if you’re the kind of person that likes hot sauce on your eggs. And they’ve been around for decades. And the recipe hasn’t changed. Thank God there’s still something we can still rely on in this world of TokTiks and smart houses and dumb cars. That thing is the Konza Swamp Band.
The group originally met in Kansas in the early 90s and the group of friends have been growing and developing ever since. They’ve built up a dedicated following and have bridged the gap between the older generation of Kansas City area stringbands like Lyman Enloe and the Wilders and the next generation. There are few bands that are true torch bearers. And there is only one Konza Swamp Band.
