Maramec Spring Park
Maramec Spring Park is our host for The Folky Fish Festival. The area was an iron works with a mine, and furnaces until 1876. The community had an estimated population of over 500 people. Music would have been a great part of the community’s life.
Today the area is Maramec Spring Park, a private park administered by the James Foundation. The park showcases the history and beauty of the area. The Spring is the fifth largest spring in the state with an average discharge of 153 cubic feet of water per second. The Missouri Department of Conservation and Maramec Spring Park cooperate to offer trout fishing in the spring branch.
Join us in this unique setting as we celebrate the music that echoes through the hills.

This 18″ x 24″ art paper poster is perfect for framing and commemorates the 2025 Folky Fish Fest. It features a striking illustration of the historic Maramec Spring Furnace alongside the full artist lineup. Designed by Andrew Evans of Effingham, Illinois, the poster showcases the distinctive style he’s known for. Since 2017, Andrew has collaborated with Poss Music Works NFP, creating posters, t-shirts, programs, banners, and social media graphics for hundreds of performances across the Midwest. Festival and gig posters remain his most rewarding creative pursuit.
