Experience the joy of harmony singing! Beth will lead the group in traditional solfege, rounds, and partner songs to create three and four part harmony the easy way. Strengthen your voice and refine your listening skills in this fun workshop open to all humans. If you can breathe, you can sing. And when you sing in harmony with others the results are AWESOME!
BIO
Beth Watts Nelson is a Kansas City based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and choral music educator. In addition to solo and duo performances, she can be heard in several projects throughout the Kansas City area including Konza Swamp Band, Catgut, Little Miss Dynamite, and her latest endeavor, Beth and Brandon. Building upon a twenty-year career in music education she is now the founder and director of Notorious Chorus, a community-based, group singing workshop for adults. Beth is a 2024 inductee to the Kansas Touring Artist Roster and winner of the John Hartford Memorial Songwriting Contest, the Walnut Valley Festival NewSong Showcase, and the Ozark Mountain Soul Songwriting Competition.
